Tools
- Hammer
- Wrench

- 1/2 in. Drill Bit
- 3/8 in. Thread Tap
Step 1: Remove the Presto Pot from the package
Step 2: Use a drill punch to create a small dimple in the side of the melter
- The dimple should be half-way between the legs and far enough away from the bottom to ensure that you don’t drill into the heating element.
Step 3: Drill a 1/2 in. hole in the side of the melter
Step 4: Use the 3/8 in. Thread Tap to make groves.
- These groves allow the brass fixtures to be screwed in.
Step 5: Assemble the spout and put thread tape over each end (to prevent leaks)
Step 6: Attached the spout using a wrench
Step 7: Apply the JB Weld around the fixtures that connect to the melter
Step 8: Flip the melter so that the JB Weld does not drip off of the melter
